While everyone has been reminiscing about concerts past and favorite drops of 2023, I am fully past that point and onto complete delusions about what is to come in 2024. I’ve created an entire bingo card dedicated to my wishful thinking (see attached), but I’ll hit the highlights for you here.

New NIKI album

Since the release of Nicole in 2022, I have probably listened to at least one song (if not five) every single day. It has been so crazy to see the metamorphosis of NIKI as a singer, songwriter, and producer. I actually don’t think that it’s too crazy to think we might get an album in 2024. There have been two years between each album drop so far (not including the latest Live at The Wiltern), so 2024 would be right on track to keep that streak alive! Give us more sad girl music!!!

I think that we’ve got a 50/50 chance of seeing this come to fruition this year. The former Kickin’ It star released Luna at the end of 2023, fresh off the heels of a tour where he was already playing some of those songs. I had the pleasure of being at one of those shows (ATL was the best), and I think that I maybe might remember him saying something about shows in 2024????? But it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

*Bonus points if he releases a new Jaden Smith collaboration!

Luke Hemmings EP

I am going to go ahead and admit that this is probably my most delusional prediction (yes, above the Harry Styles + Lizzy McAlpine collab. I said it and I meant it). Luke graced us with his first EP in 2021, played two shows for that album two years later, and has appeared to be in full 5 Seconds Of Summer mode ever since. The boys do seem to be on a break following the conclusion of their second tour in the past two years, so maybe it’s not that crazy to think that Hemmings will have some time to reflect and give us more tunes to cry to. Give us a single at least!

Lennon Stella album drop

The only time that Lennon Stella graced us with an album was in 2020. Since then, she’s released a handful of singles, covers, and a song for How I Met Your Father (random?), and yet, no album. We need more songs that make you think, “How does she know exactly what I’m feeling?” We need more Maisy Stella collabs! We need more tour dates!

Zendaya gives us music that isn’t just for that one show

I’m not going to elaborate. If you get it, you get it. Okay?

I have somehow had two chances to see AUDREY NUNA now and have tragically missed BOTH of them. 2024 is my year! An album is coming, it has to be coming! With three singles over the last half of 2023, an album is nigh. With an album comes a tour, and with a tour comes a show that I will be at.
